Happy Sunday - TBall Goodness

Here is my boy - Andrew, in all his T-Ball goodness. He is a good boy who makes his parents very happy - I cannot believe that his is already 6 years old - how time flies by so fast - before you know it, Cyn and I will be watching his High School games!

I am very proud of my son.

Welcome, Mr. President

I will be the first person to admint when I have done a wrong and voting for BUSH in 2000 was WRONG. But my hopes came down to either going with Al Gore, whom just didn't seem interesting enough nor the type of man I wanted to run the government. Then there is BUSH who I went with because I viewed his cabinet as having a lot of experience and that is the group I wanted in the White House - Actually - the only person that I cared for and would like to see him go further in his political career is Colin Powell.

Now we are 5 1/2 years later and Mr. Bush is visiting California and here is the deal... Iran is giving us crap about the Nuclear program they are sponsoring and in the same breath saying that the price of OIL is perfect and great and that we as Americans should be paying more at the pumps for our oil - and the thing is - he is right. We pay much less than the Eurpeans do for their oil - maybe it is because we keep INVADING everyone who produces oil so we get it at a discount. (almost like the 5 fingered discount you get when you cousin is working at the local Mickey D's - I like the Large Fries, please).

So, my statement to Mr. Bush is this - we need to start getting off our collective American butts and do what is right for the country:
  • I support the troops - but not the war - get out of IRAQ & Afghanistan
  • Time for BETTER ENERGY preservation - we need better fuels for our cars and our homes
  • We have too many homeless - bad healthcare - too many lobbyest in this country

I am concerned with the direction that our nation is taking. I believe that we are a great super power whom needs to make our nation a GREAT place to live and we need to start worrying about home issues instead of international issues.

Please listen to the American People - do remember that we put you in office and that you work for us and that your guidance and your legacy will be determined by what you do in the next few years.

Peace,

Bill

My Baby Crawler

Well, here he is - Ryan is starting to crawl all around - it is truly amazing how big he has gotten (this is a perspective picture - NOT ACTUAL SIZE). But he is growing so fast - here, he is about 7 1/2 months old and he just keeps on growing up - pretty soon, he will be walking and then I will have more to cry about.

Cheers!

Love One Another... As I Love You!

Easter has come and gone and it was nice. The weather here hasn't been that stellar lately, but for the Easter Egg Hunt, it went into a nice holding pattern.

Conni and family came over with their goodies (140+ plastic eggs for the hunt). Joe and his family came over with the biggest slab of HAM I have ever seen - the smell coming from that ham was a mixture of brown sugar, mustard and spices - it was SOOOO GOOOOOOD.

Mom came over and made her famous Italian vegetable salad - a conglamoration of olives, artichoke hearts, onions and other little tidbits topped with a savory Italian Dressing for salads - YEAH!

Life was good yesterday - I enjoyed this Easter - the first one I enjoyed in like 3-4 years.

I prayed over the meal and reminded my family that the day was a glorious day filled with the love of a risen Lord. I further let them know that one of the commandments that Jesus said to his disciples was that they should love one another, as he has loved them and that is the point I wanted to get across. Just as much as we have faith and love in our religious roots and this is how we try to live, we often overlook the teachings of Jesus. We forget that we need to live our lives just as Jesus did. To be more Christ like is to be as close to God as we can here on earth.

My Uncle reminded me that we are full of blessings this year and have been blessed over the past few years. I have a loving wife who puts up with me, 3 lovely beautiful children who give there parents nothing but love and happiness and continue to amaze us every day as they grow and stretch their minds, and a home in a safe peaceful neighborhood that we are lucky enough to have good jobs to keep us living there.

May this Easter be not only a blessing for you, but may you in turn be able to take that blessing and pass it on to your loved ones - forgive pass indescretions and problems and wipe the slate clean - better yet - don't keep score on any level. Love one another as I now love you.

Peace be with you all!

Too Much Stuff

This week is going to prove to be a very difficult and tiring week... what do I have going on?

  • Signing loan documents on new home purchase
  • Getting ready to move my house (on Friday, March 3, 2006)
  • T-Ball practice starts on Thursday, March 2, 2006
  • I have to go to the new home on Thursday (after T-Ball) to epoxy the garage floor
  • move on Saturday
  • settle in on Sunday
  • Fly out to TEXAS on Monday, March 6, 2006

OH MY GOD.

Can we say STRESS!

OK - so what is the meaning behind my blog title. It is who I am. A fanatic of Apple Computers Macintosh. I have been using the Macinotosh since 1998 and the Mac SE with dual floppy drives and 1 MB of memory. A truly awe-inspiring computer.

Here is also a little taste of who I am - the license plate from my car:

Anyway - my first plane trip in 2 years. I do not look forward to a 3 1/2 hour plane trip, but I have my video iPod loaded with a couple of good movies - plenty of music and an earnest hope that the plane trip will be uneventful and nice. I do not like the fact that the plane is a MD-88. But I do have a window seat... small blessings I guess.

I am blessed - with a good job, a good family, a good home and great friends and family. I have the love and support of GOD and the blessings of my father who has passed before me. I will let Jesus take the wheel as he drives me to my next destination.

Anyway - my team name is the ANGELS and it should be fun and adventursome coach 12 5-6 year olds... YEAH!!!!

Peace Out!
